A recognised bachelor’s degree in public administration / management sciences / law or equivalent at an acceptable tertiary institution.
■

Five (05) years minimum work-related experience and knowledge at middle management level and have a proven successful institutional transformation within public or private sector, preferably local government sphere.
■

Have proven successful management experience in administration, legal and human capital management.
■

Computer literacy in MS Office
■

Valid driver’s license (Code 08 (EB)).
■

MANAGER PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT – (SASOLBURG)

Minimum requirements:
■

BSc/B Eng Civil Eng/Project Management, B Tech in Civil Eng/Project Management.
■

Eligibility for registration as Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng/SACPCMP as Professional Construction Project Manager.
■

8 Years or more relevant experience post registration with atleast 5 years proven managerial and supervisory experience is required.
■

Computer Literacy.
■

Valid drivers licence.
■

Metsimaholo Local Municipality seeks to appoint suitably qualified candidates to serve as members of its audit and performance committee in order to comply with the provisions of the section 166 of the Municipal Finance Management Act.

Requirements:
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Financial Management or Auditing, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or CA (SA) and experienced Internal Auditors functioning at senior level will have preference. Minimum of 5 years experience in Audit and Risk Management across the business environment. Knowledge and experience in Municipal Performance Management System. Understanding of major accounting practices and public sector reporting formats (GRAAP), Legal experience and Strong consulting and advisory skills, thorough understanding of Corporate Governance Principles.
