Metsimaholo Local Municipality today, 29 January 2026, successfully held the official handover of the Certified General Valuation Roll (GVR) for the period 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2031, presented by the appointed municipal valuer, Manna Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

The handover was led by Manna Holdings (Pty) Ltd CEO, Mr Arthur Lelosa, accompanied by the Manager: Data and GIS (Manna Holdings). Representing Metsimaholo Local Municipality were the Municipal Manager, Mr Basi Motloung, Chief Financial Officer, Ms Fikile Mareka, and Manager  Revenue, Mr Disema Mokoena. The session was held at the 7th Floor Boardroom of Metsimaholo Local Municipality.

This milestone is of critical importance as the General Valuation Roll forms the foundation for fair and equitable property valuation,accurate billing, and revenue sustainability for the Municipality. It further supports sound financial planning, compliance with legislative requirements, and enhances transparency and accountability in municipal revenue management over the next valuation cycle.
